An ever changing groovy positive music selection is Luyo Sound trademark, recently listed in the Wikipedia world’s most notable sound systems.
It took nine years to develop Luyo Sound System project. It began living the dream of being a music selector in a warm island.
It took place at the Abracadabra club, were both the place and the sound grew within the years in maturity and credibility.
It’s been an amazing experience being part of that magic that would happen every night, with guests from literally all over the world, throwing in costume parties that became legendary. Explosions of vitality, colors and sounds.
The secret to create such parties was to be able to make feel comfortable such a variety of people. This eclectic mix was of course expressed in the music selection, a blend of party tunes that would stick people together.
Within the years something has changed. Being in contact with the rastafarian movement and esoteric studies brought it much further, seeing at the beginning of the tenth year of Luyo Sound the chance to change the things up in a more conscious way.
This new direction is expressed by playing a conscious reggae music selection, giving great attention to the lyrics, to the message.
The newest addition to Luyo Sound System is the Vj set, a video mix that adds an additional visual element to the night. Federico has been vjing for Ministry of Sound too!
